RE: binos for birding and ocean viewing

Guys,
Have narrowed down my bino selection to three pair which fit my budget, can anyone weigh in with specific recommendations, choices or experiences between these these;
- Vortex Crossfire 10x42
- BUSHNELL 221042 10x42 NATUREVIEW
- Nikon 10x42 Monarch

Any insights extremely welcome.

You might have better luck in the binocular forum.

I don't have experience with any of those three models, but I do own a different Vortex model and have had good luck with it. I think I have heard good things about the Nikon Monarch. I've heard of Bushnell having both good models and bad models, but I don't recall hearing which category the Natureview falls in.
