Kenko stabilised binos in development (1 Viewer)

I came across a video on youtube of Kenko's pre-production stabilised binoculars.

They're claiming the lightest weight of any equivalent stabilised bino.

No specs yet but the 10x30's might be of interest. Possibly they would be cheaper than the Canon equivalent.

I personally like the closeness of the objective lenses which should help potentially with close focus capabilities. Not so sure about the positioning of the focus wheel.

Presumably they have found a way to build on the stabilised monocular technology that abounds at present and incorporate it into a binocular.

A case of watch out for Kenko news releases for futher developments.

I think that my Canon 10x30 Mk II is better than the Kenko shown.

Notice only 30mm, which suggests an electronic system such as in the many small aperture monoculars.
