Just returned from a 3 week trip to California primarily in the Livermore area which is east of Oakland/San Francisco. Also as part of my trip we spent a day up at Point Reyes National Seashore. Point Reyes was amazing. Not only with birds but elephant seals.

Ended the trip with 99 species and 11 life birds.

You must have been to California before if California Thrasher and Lawrence's Goldfinch were not life birds. After two trips to that area, those two are still on my wish list.
Looks like you got a good many of salt water species, despite Point Reyes being a "side trip". It must have been a physically refreshing visit after being in the heat of the valley.
No Tri-colored Blackbird? Another one I missed on my visits. Great state to visit for us Easterners.

Yep got goldfinch and thrasher last year. Thrashers are resident at lake de Valle in Livermore. No tri-colored bb this year, found a few last year. Point Reyes is a worthwhile trip. Would love to be there during migration
