Stolen optics (1 Viewer)

Sorry to hear what's happened Helen, not what you need. As well as posting here and watching websites you'd do well to email round optics dealers just in case (Cley Spy, In Focus and the likes, include serial numbers if you have them). I know others have offered already but if you need the loan of a pair of bins then let me know, could possibly sort an old scope out too if you need it.

Thanks very much, everyone and for the tips. I've already rung local secondhand shops but I'll give the dealers a go too. Let me know if you see anything like them but I'm about to rebuy my bins this evening. I just can't bear the thought of not having them for long. The scope will have to wait until (if) the insurance pays up but I'm ok with a loan for the Islay bash so it's all good.

Cheers

The horse is out of the barn, but I aways store my binoculars in the trunk (if there is one) or in an inaccessible place in my pickup. But little will deter a thief who has adequate time to break windows and gain access/
