Morocco in June (1 Viewer)

Sorry about the boat trip Dave, but hope you mange to photograph with some of those desert species.

Looking forward to see.

Boat trip or not, your shots are wonderful.
Beauty is everywhere, but not everyone has the gift to see it.
Good on you!

A few more days added to my blog which is more your average holiday blog than the adventures Jos Stratford was undertaking during the same period and described here on this forum!
I have pushed wife Claire in to one or two places were the home comforts were lacking but this time she was on the promise of some near luxury so no way were tents coming in to our equation. Can't say I'm not a little envious of his "hardships" though.

Don't put too much faith in my ID though - perhaps post in the ID section for Tom or one of the other BoP experts to give you a definitive answer!

Looking at my Collins Guide the underneath lacks those black patches on the wings but otherwise it fits the criteria right down to "Eagle like heavy flight" which had me posing the ID in the first place!
I'm pretty certain you are right.
Here's one from the second day which is very similar but has some slightly darker feathering.

I think we can be safe to say your wife enjoyed your trip more than she would have if travelling with me :-O

More fantastic images of birds and scenery Dave.

Well jealous of the Tchagra and the Moussier's Redstart!

Give me those 2 species any day, compared to Bald Ibis.

Well for a non birding trip some species I'd give my eye teeth for. The Courser's a such great birds.

Looking forward to the next one!

Phil
