Hi, I hope someone can advise. I'm after getting a monopod and head for my 7d and 100-400mm lens. Is there anything that you could advise on which one to get. I don't want to spend massive amount of money.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Simon

Have a look at these 2:

I have the larger version of this monopod and it fine for my 600, so this one will be more than up to your needs. They are very nice quality monopods but for some reason they put a rubbish leg warmer on mine - not a biggie but worth mentioning.
I also use the L10 head and find it pretty good for anything up to a 300 f2.8 - it's not as good as the American made equivalents, but it is a fraction of the price
