I have just purchased one of these s/h but looking at the reviews all I can find are references to an APO version or a D APO version and mine does not carry either APO or D APO markings.
 
Thanks, it appears to be the early (non APO) version. seems to give reasonable results at f8 on a Sony a33 so as expected.
