kodak p712 & 1.4 tele (1 Viewer)

Has anyone had experience with the 1.4 telephoto lens on the kodak p712?
I wonder if with the image stabilized feature it may be a useful accesory.

I have the similar lower spec. p850 and Olympus T-con 17. and I don't need tripod even on full zoom. I would definitely recommend getting a teleconverter, either Kodaks own or the Olympus should produce good results.
