Camped 8 out of 10 years in the '80's - no lying-in unless its pishing it down!
It's the only site i've ever used in the UK where the rates went up during October!
I would'nt bother hiring a pager etc....Just bird around and hook up with whoever you bump into and don't be afraid to go up Telegraph way in the North of St Marys AKA 'The Empty Quarter' - if you see loads of boats heading to the other islands or you do'nt bump into anybody for 2-3 hours then there is/was a distinct possibility that something's been found.......:eek!:
Hvnt been since '99 and cannot see myself visiting as it's not the value for money, for me, that it was. I much prefer to find my own stuff somewhere in the WPal but if you have'nt been..........then go.
