Hi,will my Sigma 400mm f5.6 lens work on a 400d?It works fine on my 300d albeit wide open on aperture priority.Thanks guys,Mike.

Whilst I have not got that particular lens I do have both a 300D and a 400D and so far I have found all the various lenses that worked on my 300D work much the same on the 400D.

Canon's lense mounts are compatible with nearly all of their DSLR line. Only thing to consider in the lense conversion factor. For the 400D I think it is 1.5.
