Any more nests?

Will there be any new nest building this summer? I live in the suburbs of Detroit, MI and wonder if any of the birds: hummers, orioles, cardinals, etc. will be raising a second brood before they head for warmer climes.

Not sure exactly, but I believe that Gold Finches nest rather late. In addition, some birds have a second brood (cardinals and ?), which could be happening now I would think.

I think someone else can come up with more precise info as we bump this up ... What's your interest in this info? (Are you planning to take down a tree or thinking you're seeing fledglings?)

Amer. Goldfinch often among the last to nest in order to utilize parts of thistle plants to build nest with. Location relative equator being determinate when thistle blooms. Goldfinch in northern latitudes might not start until mid june or so.

I just bought a basket made for nesting material and was hoping it might still get used this year. Thank you for your help.
