Bird ID - Maryland, USA (1 Viewer)

This was seen in Theodore Roosevelt Park (which I think is Maryland, though it could be Virginia) - only angle/shot I got of it. Looks like a flycatcher, but doesn't look like it has a crest like the Great crested FC.

Surely a myiarchus flycatcher. Not sure it's possible to say beyond that. What month?

Great-crested, I would say, based on the extent of yellow on the underparts

Theodore Roosevelt National Park is in the District of Columbia (though the parking lot is in Virginia).

Plus OP didn’t mention the time of the year when this was observed, a Great-crested Flycatcher would be highly unusual for this time of the year, which may have skewed people’s judgement.
