This sandpiper was posted on ID site on Facebook, asking the question Least or Western- i'm not sure whether it's either. Thoughts?

Another for Western. It seems very clean / unmarked underneath but the combination of rufous crown / nape, rather bright scapular contrasting with the rest of the upperparts and the shape and proportions of the bill rule out anything else IMO

Hard to disagree with that but for a Western that breast does seem fairly well demarcated. Interesting bird.
