Raptor over Cheshire moorland (1 Viewer)

Please excuse the very bad quality of the photos - this bird was rather distant.

Photos were taken on 29 June over the moors (~450 metres elevation) just outside Macclesfield Forest, Cheshire. To my eyes it looked to be bigger than a buzzard, although it was a bit hard to judge size accurately at that distance.

I know it's not a lot to go on, but hoping that some of the more knowledgeable folks on here might be able to tell something from what can be seen of the markings, flight profile etc.

Many thanks in advance!
