Overexposed shots with Kowa 883 and Canon 7D (1 Viewer)

I'm fairly new to digiscoping. Recently got the 7D and any digiscoped shots taken in Av or Tv are 2-3 stops overexposed. Here's my setup:

Kowa 883 with 20-60X eyepiece
TSN-DA10
Canon 50mm
Canon 7D

Shots taken in Program mode are correctly exposed. What's going on in Av and Tv?

Also, are there better digiscoping setups with the Kowa 883 and Canon 7D?

Thanks,
Alicia

Can you possibly post a picture taken in Av and also the exit data?

So we can see if we can help?

Alicia,
This is just a guess, but you may have your camera stopped down too far. Open the Aperture wide open (f/2.8 - f/5.6) and see if that solves your problem. On my Nikon 1 V1 camera the images are overexposed if I shoot at f/8 - f/16, but are just fine at f/2.8 - f/5.6.
Good Luck!
