Nikon Coolpix P1 digiscoping package (1 Viewer)

Has anyone tried out this digiscoping setup from Nikon? I am looking for a "basic" digiscoping setup and this looks interesting.
Packages is as follows;
# CoolPix P1 8.0MP digital camera;
# 82mm Straight Fieldscope with ED glass;
# 30X digiscoping eyepiece;
# FSB-3 camera mounting bracket,

I would appreciate any comments on this system.

For sure it gonna work.The combination of the P1 and the 30XDS mean no vignetting at all and that is very good. The downside of the P1 is that you can't move the lcd viewer and i'm not sure (you have to look at this) you can shoot in A (aperture priority) mode. If you go with this set up, maybe look for an angled scope model that can help for the fixed LCD.

After watching at steve digicam for the P1 spec, it have the A mode, also I see there is a 2.5" LCD and that's fine too.
