Last Friday our class went to LaoTieShan, which was located in LvShun district in Dalian. We visited a bird banding station which was set to study about birds migration. Near the station, there was an artificial lake which attracted birds flying down for drink. Large area of nets were placed around the lake, so that birds would be trapped as they finished drinking. Those birds would be put on a band which has a individual code. Before letting birds go, we recorded the species, gender, and time in accurate.
