Black Tailed or Bar Tailed Godwit, Northern NSW Australia (1 Viewer)

I've lent towards Black Tailed Godwit as per the non-breding sketch in Pizzey/Knight but a friend suggests he can see barring on the tale and calling it a Bar Tailed Godwit.
Any further votes on which one.
It was seen at Kingscliffe, Northern NSW, Australia on 26/11/2013.
Thanks for any help at all. Either way it will be a new bird for me but it's no good if I can't ID it correctly
