These cameras do it well in tests. Does anyone know if they are suitable for digiscoping? I got at Zeiss Diascope 85 and wants to buy a new digital camera. I am trying out coolpix4500 now, without adapter, but thinks this is getting old? It has some drawbacks too...

I see the canon A85 may be ok, but have read that it is slow in focusing. Any other suggestions? Is everything tried out?
