Birding in Taiwan (1 Viewer)

I will be on a business trip to Taiwan in April. I will be in Taichung City - on April 15, I will leave this area and need to get to the airport in Taipei by 2:30 PM for a flight later that day. What advice do you have for birding? Should I bird somewhere near Taichung City (and later pick up my luggage)? or go to Taipei (and leave my luggage somewhere). Also, I think I take train from Taipei to Taichung City - right?
