Hi,

This little Beetlesque critter was in a hurry to cross the road this morning (November, 8C) in East Anglia.

Any ideas to a name please?

Agree- but they are not beetles (or remotely related to them) but true bugs!

Well, you actually can say they are 'remotely related to them', just in the same way humans are 'remotely related' to cows :t:
