White Fronted Geese

The first record was in 1960 when 21 birds flew over Swan Pool, we had to wait twenty years for our next record when 8 birds again flew over Swan Pool in 1980. In 1982 we had 21 birds fly south, between February 1993 and Match 1994 we had a feral bird join the Canada's on Forge Mill, then in 1997 we had a tame bird on Forge Mill for three day's. We had 2 birds on the 13th March 2003 and that was our last record till today's flock of 32 birds.

Waxwings in Amblecote and Sutton's Coldfield per Bird Guides
Good Birding YAMYAM

Around 60 Waxwings all in the same tree on Farnborough Road, Castle Vale at 11.20am today, the same area they've been reported all week. I don't think they'll be hanging around though, the trees were stripped of berries.

And one final one of the whole flock (because I can't add more than one to a post from my iPad).
