Buteo ssp. ? (1 Viewer)

there's an intergradation zone of many 100km where phenotypically pure looking buteo and some vulinus-like birds breed close to each other. some intergrades cannot be identified as such. but kolya (osprey) lives in lviv, west-ukraine. still i believe phenotypically pure looking nominate common buzzards occure well into central ukraine.

Nutcracker and Lou, thank You very much!!!
Photos was taken in South Ukraine and my friend told me, that there are vulpinus or intermedius subspecies...
