Friday, July 25th entry ....

A new high temp for the year yesterday at Phoenix Sky Harbor and a record for that date of 116 F (46.7 C). Lucky for me I left yesterday morning to the high country were it is 76 right now.

Isn't it amazing the way young kestrels just a few days out of the nest can hover just as well as their parents?
 
It's still stifling hot... and I still hate Windows 8!
