Alternative feeder foods (1 Viewer)

I have about a feeder's worth of marigold seeds at the moment - far too many to grow in the garden next year. Would they make good bird food? And what other garden plants' seeds would be suitable for a feeder?

The birds would love the Marigold seed. I dont know the different types of Marigold but lots wild foods contains French and desert Marigold seeds.
Indian grass and bluestem among berrys are also eaten but not by all birds .
