canon s90 CHDK ..USB remote cable . (1 Viewer)

is anyone familar with the CHDK ..canon hack development kit ? im trying to find a way to have a shutter cable to avoid vibration during digascopeing ..shutter bug pro ? servo boards ? ..homemade USB remote cable ..?.. the closest major city for me is calgary alberta and i would pay someone to install and build or find what i need to make this work for me ..if it will work at all .. lol. any advice would be very helpful ..

i have looked and i dont see anything i can buy here in calgary alberta .. iv phoned around and no one knows anything .. i guess im stuck with the timer for now..

CHDK runs on the S90, and does allow using a USB remote, but you've got to make the remote yourself from a USB cable, switch, battery and switch/battery housing box of some sort. It's probably easiest to put a USB socket in the housing box and use the normal PC connect cable between the box and the S90.

Note the point about being cautious with battery voltage.
