Monopod recommendations (1 Viewer)

I recently purchased a used Canon Powershot SX50 HS as an alternative to walking distances with my 300mm set-up & binocs combined- getting older is no good for the lower back.

The Powershot is light as a feather but I find it's so light I'm having trouble stabilizing it and I get shaky hand effects. I'd like to find a reasonably priced (under 100) but good quality monopod, which I think can also be lightweight as it will not be supporting a heavy camera.

Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

Have a look at the Zomei range of tripod's on Amazon or eBay. Build quality excellent, plus some have one leg that unscrews to use as a monopod. A lot cheaper than some of the well known names.
