Printing Web Pages (1 Viewer)

Andrew

wibble wibble
Does anyone else have the persistent problem of not being able to print off web pages in full? I have tried the various printer options including scale to fit and there is always a chunk missing on the right hand side of the page.

I just thought of copying and pasting the page to a desktop publisher and still it did not work (Corel).

Anyone got the answer for me. I need to print off Birdguides pages and maps for birding days out.

Hi Andrew! In cases like this, I usually change my screen resolution for that print job and it corrects the problem.

If having a problem such as this, I sometimes copy and paste the text into Word, which does work, but I also occasionally change the page settings to landscape format.

It all depends how the web page is constructed. I find that where the text area of the web page has been given a set width, this is when it sometimes cuts off the right side when printing. If the text is set to wrap, it will usually print OK.

You can find out how the page is going to print by clicking File > Print Preview in IE, then make adjustments accordingly.
