Thanks for the tip Kathy, I caught the Saturday repeat of this excellent programme.

Bird species I noticed included Marabou, White Pelican, Great and Intermediate Egrets, Cape Turtle Dove, Hamerkop, Blacksmith Plover, African White-backed Vulture, Red- and Yellow-billed Oxpeckers (list not exhaustive) and no identification of any by the narrator, in this case Sir David.

Banded Mongoose among mammals similarly ignored.

I am glad I got the species correct - what a fabulous selection of birds to see and ID.
Sir David tut tut ... there was a little more to the programme other than the Leopards ;)
