Canon 300 f2.8L IS mark one lens foot (1 Viewer)

Can anyone tell me where I can get a Kirk or RRS replacement foot for my Canon 300 f2.8L IS mark 1 lens in the UK please ...or does the 'mark2' version fit the mark 1?
Wex have the Kirk mark2 replacement but I don't want to get that if it isn't compatible.
All help would be appreciated.
