Canada Goose Incubating! (1 Viewer)

Ford Focus Fanatic: mmmmmm... 3.1415926535.....
Yesterday, on one of my trips to the local pond, I discovered that two Canada geese who live there have been incubating eggs! I'll keep tabs on the progress of the eggs, and when they hatch, keep you posted on how the chicks are doing... that is, if I can get close enough to snap some quality shots!

What do you guys think? Should I keep everyone up to date on the progress?

By all means keep us informed of any progress, gthang - but remember that the welfare of the birds is paramount, and far more important than a photo.

If you need to "get close" then you're probably too close. Unless you've got some serious kit, you might be best just to use the bins or scope and report back on what you see.

Will keep that in mind Birdman!

As always, If the bird appears to be getting agitated or frightened, I will back off. I will snap some pictures as the hatchlings mature.
