A friend of mine wants to know some way to adaptate a handycam to the zoom. He tried 58 to 37 rings but doesnt work.

If he only knew the metric of the screw would be great.

any kind of comments are welcome.

Thanks

Hello fellow Cosme, try to help me find a way to adapt a type handycam camera to an eyepiece Zeiss 20-75x of the problem is we do not know what type of ring would be to couple the Corresponding to that eye, what we do know is that the holder of the camera is 37mm. (female thread).
We try to place a 37 mm adapter ring. (male thread) to the camera and 58mm. (female thread), but the part that corresponds to the eye in 1st place is not the right thread and 2nd place in the internal thread retracted behind the eye cup is away from the edge with which even the the ring had the proper thread nor could put asalvar not get that smooth stretch.
Cosme thank you very much for your help and who can throw us a cable, to tell us what is thread size and what ring could either serve or otherwise be able to make the conjunction.
Greetings.
