Geoff, the 11th of May will be a fantastic time to visit, the Corncrakes should be on Iona by then.

5 weeks tomorrow we'll be heading off for another week on Mull. Can't wait

To be honest Richard, I am thinking of going back in April, as it is only a 6 hour drive, from Hull....Like most I have fallen in love with Mull

It's not that bad a drive is it? I timed it as 5 1/2 hours Ilkley to Oban door to door. Most likely it'll take me longer as I'll have to stop for breaks for both kids & dogs!!

Leave on 12th for a week & aim to make the most of it.
