I am just interested to know if anybodys jobs involve working with birds, or if anyone takes part in any volunteer work with them? If so, what do you do? It is something I am interested in doing myself but i'm not quite sure what kind of things you can do.

Here are some things that I am aware of:

Working as a volunteer or staff with a bird rehab hospital.
Working with non-releasable birds of prey
Working as a falconer
Volunteering for various bird studies world wide (counting, ringing, habitat preservation....all sorts of things)

I think there are many, many opportunities depending on your area of interest, how much education you are willing to pursue etc.
