Help please.

New season and nothing changes. Have gone through my bee/insect books and nothing looks like this - is it me?

Thanks

As a fellow novice, I purchased a copy of Field Guide to the Bees of GB and Ireland, Falk and Lewington, and was the delighted to find the front cover species in Bedfordshire, Ashy Mining Bee (unless I'm mistaken of course).

Still hoping to get a picture of the Tawny Mining Bee.
