Bearded Mountaineer Photos - Peruvian Endemic (1 Viewer)

Hi Tim,

Those are some very nice shots. In May 2010 my wife and I spent an entire day looking at what seemed like every tobacco flower around Huacarpay for the Bearded Mountaineer, entirely without success, so I'm mighty envious. There may be some seasonal variation in its distribution, although none that I am aware of, so count your blessings! :) It is a beautiful hummer, no question.

Thanks for sharing, Jim
