Firstly I hope that all birders and families in Philippines are well and that they haven't suffered too much property damage; and apologies if I've posted this thread too soon.

We are planning to be in Luzon, Bohol, Cebu and Palawan in January / February and we were wondering what impact the Super Storm might have on birds of the area, for example will range restricted birds in Bohol and Cebu now be more widely dispersed in their bid to escape the storm or will birds just have sought cover and stayed put with a number no doubt being hit.
Experience of others who have seen similar events in the past would be interesting.
