Location : Sat Tal Forest, Dist. Nainital, Uttarakhand Himalayas, India

Altitude : 5000-5200 feet.

Date : 06.04.2017

Size : 13-14 cm. ( Small but longish white tipped tail ) / Breast / Belly - whitish-buff. / Rump : red

Siva is what a lot of the Indian guides seem to use now - but say they prefered Minla.

My Grimmskipp (2011) uses Siva in the case of Blue-winged and Bar-throated but retains Minla for Red-tailed.

It seems to be only Handbook of the Birds of the World that uses Siva (aside from Grimmskipp).
