Great morning at Lake Skinner, CA (1 Viewer)

Yesterday I spent the morning at Lake Skinner County Park, Temecula in hopes of seeing the rare Blue-footed Boobies there. When we first arrived, we went to the marina where coots, grebes, Bufflehead, and egrets were present. Within 15 minutes, a Blue-footed Booby, a lifer for me, shot by and circled around a couple times. After that we continued along the trail and came by two Brown Pelicans, some American White Pelicans, a pair of Belted Kingfishers, and more waterfowl. An Osprey and several Ring-billed Gulls circled overhead too. A Greater Roadrunner was a nice addition as well. Overall, a very good day with at least 45 species seen.
