Piè's 2015 list (1 Viewer)

I hope this will help me to remember and enjoy this year of feathers,
to look for all the common birds (that's actually the way to find the rare ones).
Maybe I'll drop half way, maybe I will forget some species, does it matter?
It won't be a Big Year and, unfortunately, I am not going to be able to be "green" http://www.greenbirding.ca/, but I won't waste gas...just usual birding o:D, crazy enough as it is...

I will follow the IOC list.

It all started in Italy (1st to 6th of January), Matelica (MC), just hanging out in my garden between Lasagne e Tortellini...not serious stuff. Lost in the hills of Marche a little bit like the Tolkien's shire but with some mountains.
For sure I was lazy as most Hobbit!

Sunny and quite warm day in southern Germany...
I drove to the lake (Ammersee) for lunch break,
Eye in the scope while chewing a KaeseBrezen, despite the haze:

60) Eurasian Wigeon
61) Red-necked grebe
62) Goosander

Morning with no wind, worth a 20 minuts stop to the pond on the way to work.
First rays of sun hitting the frozen fields, puffs of fog on the hills. Quite pritty, damn cold.
Unfortunately the pond is totally frozen:

63) Eurasian Bittern
64) Brambling
65) House sparrow
66) Bullfinch
67) Yellowammer

Today white.
5-10cm of wet snow everywhere.
I spent the "warm" hours of the the day at south Ammersee.
Nothing special but the the need for birding is calmed for some hours :)

68) common gull
69) caspian gull
70) fieldfare
71) canada goose
72) red-crested pochard
73) greater scoup
