Hi Ben and welcome to BirdForum from all the staff.
I am not sure how you were posting the photos but all that was displaying was lines of code (which I have deleted). If you want to add photos to a post then click on "go advanced" and then "manage attachments", you can then upload the images to the thread. If the enquiry is about specifics of a pair of binoculars you will probably get a better response if you post it in the Binocular section.
