Hi,
In one week, we will land in Islay for 4 days.
We will visit several places such as Loch Gruinard, ...
And then back on to Scotland mainland and going north from west side (untill August 8th), visiting gardens and birds sites: Inchree, Mailaig, the Cuillings on Skye, Tornapress, Apple cross, cap Fermore, Shieldaig, Torridon, ... Loch maree, Beinn eighe (?), falls Measach, Ullapool, Scourie, Handa Island for the day), Ben more Coagag, + Inverness
End of the trip on August 8th! :(

I have "where to see birds in scotland"
but if you have recent report or any good spot to mention, it is welcome ;). We are not looking for specific species, but we will be happy with grouses and puffins too. Is there also any place we still could see puffins early august (Handa???)?
Thanks in advance
Yves

Hi Yves. Watch out for Black Guillemot by the ferry terminal in Ullapool and White Tailed Sea Eagles by Shieldaig.

Hope you have a great tip.

Rich
