Hi there

Does anybody have any experience with the above. I was going to get some Nikon Monarch 8x36 but find them uncomfortable due to lack of thumb space.

Many Thanks

Steve

These are chinese, made by Sicong and sold by various oems, Opticron, Viking, Williams, etc. For build quality they are not upto the Japanese, but they are light, optically I found they more than adequate. No gross disrortions, like the really low end market. The eye relief is good 20mm, close focus 1.5m, CA quite low. A capable binocular, in my opinion. I am, despite the name, not a perfectionist and prepared to balance cost v performance. Buy at a reasonable price and enjoy.

Thanks for the reply Peter. There are several pairs on e-bay for £80 or so and wondered if they were useable so thanks again

Steve
