I've looked in the Florida Bird Book I have and can't find this little bird
Photo taken at St.Marks NWR on the edge of a pond He seem to be fishing

If the Florida book you are referring to is a Bird Book, this bird should definitely be in it. It would probably be near the front of the book. It is a SORA. It belongs to a family of birds called Rails. Those are very nice pictures! I look forward to seeing more of your photos.
