A pleasant hour at Frampton marsh produced some very nice views of a male Montagus harrier with just a glimpse only of the female. Also marsh harriers and a Hobby-from there had a bit of time left ,so off to Kirkby moor where we saw two green woodpeckers, blackcaps, long tailed tits, chiffchaff,Kestrel(took this pic from long distance) and a Hobby- a good day for Hobbys B :)

Hi Paul,

Quite a few birds of prey there, always a good day when you see plenty birds of prey, you got a nice shot there.

Paul,

The female Montagu was showing well this morning sitting and "posing" out in the marsh with short flying forays for well over an hour. It has been the best morning for sightings from the official watchpoint up to now. Also a few Marsh harriers seen out there as well.

You are lucky to have Monty's so close to yourself. I saw them not more than a few weeks ago and they were amazing.
