Question before buying a telescope (1 Viewer)

I'm soon about to buy a new telescope, and I just need to have a quick check-up before placing an order. The scopes I'm deciding between is the Orion 80ED and the SW 80ED. I notice the glass are the same in both of them, so the difference could be in mechanical quality. I do like the looks of the Orion, are the scopes similar enough to justify my choice on the looks?

Also, is this the new version of the SW down below? I have noticed some sites says DS PRO also, is it the same version or older?

Thanks!

Hej,

I recently purchased my first scope, a Skywatcher Evostar ED80 (600mm, F7.5) based on recommendations from members on this forum and it was the right product for my needs.

I bought it from Telescope Service, they seem to have it in stock according to thier web shop. http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p5540_Skywatcher-EVOSTAR-ED80-ED-APO-80-600mm-2--FOC-MICRO.html

Glass is same, I suppose the difference is the mechanical assembly. I also guess they are fitted with the same Crayfoord focuser.

Well that information decided it very quickly for me, what a great price from that site! The price differential was largely substantial, can't beat that! Thanks Tord! |=)|

Edit: I saw now that the price from astroshop.eu was with the case, eyepiece and all that. Not really OTA after all. Since I can do without the other stuff for now I will still go with just the tube from Telescope Service.
