and what a good idea it was - these are perfectly pornographic and I have to admit a little bit of dribble came out!
 
After nearly 2 years I've felt the need to have another go so here's the start of my latest attempt, Not quite made my mind up how this one's going to end but I'm thinking maybe Long Tailed Ducks.

The end result, cant say I'm all that happy with the way it turned out but I guess I am a little rusty after the best part of 3 years since my last oil.

I have enjoyed looking through your paintings, and there were some really great landscapes I adored in the very few first posts! And I think you can be happy with your last one as well, you have captured the movement and the atmosphere of a stormy day at sea well!

Thanks Jenny, I do seem to sometimes struggle with the birds a little at times. My best ones seem to be the ones that are mainly landscapes with only small birds rather than close ups of the birds like my last one.

I was remiss not to post on the LT Ducks- they would like very fine in that style on a Nantucket duck carver's workshop
