Does any body use the combination of a Swarovski ATS 80 HD and Canon Powershot S2. Does this work or are there inherant problems with this combination?

Thanks

John

For digiscoping a camera with a 3x or 4x lens is preferred to match up with the Eye Relief and magnification of the eyepiece . If you could get rid of vignetting around 10 x on the camera zoom you would have around 200x magnification which is way too much for birds ( particularly moving birds ) and beyond the resolving power of an 80 mm scope. Digiscopers are looking for a combined range of 15x - 60 x magnification (camera lens plus scope eyepiece ). I hope this helps, Neil.
