At last, some good news from Doñana regarding the Iberian lynx. (1 Viewer)

Great news after all the recent depressing news about the lynx. Maybe they do have a chance.

First captive breeding success for Iberian lynx - A two-year old female Iberian lynx has just given birth to three cubs in Doñana's captive breeding programme. This is a world-first for the critically endangered species which has never before bred in captivity. The birth came as something of surprise as the mother was thought to be sexually immature. Environment minister Narbona announced that another of the Doñana programme's females is also expected to give birth within the next few days. Date: March 30, 2005 Source: El Mundo

Regards from Doñana.

John.
