Minnesota Hawk (1 Viewer)

Difficult pic, but Broad-winged seems the best fit. Banding in the tail would suggest a juvenile.

Probable juvenile Broad-winged Hawk as Randy notes. Lightly streaked chest pattern. There are similar pictures in Wheeler's books. Some pale adults can have the pattern but we can't get a good look at the tail here.

Thanks to you all for your input. I believed it to be a Broad Winged as well, but was not sure enough to add it to my life list. FYI, the tail was banded and matches that of a Broad Winged. I'm not as experienced as many of you folks are, and appreciate your expertise with this one.
